Court Appointed Guardianship
A court appointed Guardian is an individual who, through supported decision-making and informed consent, advocates with and for an incapacitated person. Angie works primarily with the elder population and brain injured individuals. The National Guardianship Standards of Practice are the foundation for decision making and client management.

Medical Durable Power of Attorney
A Medical Durable Power of Attorney (MDPOA) is a legal document which allows you to name an individual to make medical decisions on your behalf in the event that you are unable to do so for yourself. It allows you to create a relationship with this individual, and make your wishes known, in the event that you are unable to due to incapacity. Incapacity can result from a sudden medical event or can be gradual, due to brain fog or dementia.
3
Court Visitor
A Court Visitor is a neutral party, appointed by the court to investigate and evaluate the appropriateness of a case. A court visitor is typically appointed in Petition for Guardian or Conservator cases, or when a child with disabilities reaches the age of legal majority, allowing the parent(s) to be appointed as Guardian and Conservator.
